WHY ARE WE THE WAY WE ARE?~
This course will explore the impact of race, class, culture, generation and gender on individual development with a view to illuminating the influences on why we are the way we are. Tools and insights from the academic disciplines of biology, psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology, history and others will be presented through lectures and readings supplemented by class discussion of assigned materials and personal experience of classmates.
